Completing your profile
Prioritize the profile sections that make your CV useful and discoverable.
3 min readA complete profile gives employers useful context and helps the right searches match your public information. The web Dashboard includes a 0–100 completion guide. Mobile does not currently show a numerical score; use the CV tab's section counts and empty-section prompts instead.
What the web guide checks
- Set your display name — 10 points
- Add a profile photo — 15 points
- Add at least one work history entry — 20 points
- Write a bio — 10 points
- Add a tagline — 10 points
- Select your cuisine specialities — 10 points
- Claim your public link (handle) — 10 points
- Add your city — 5 points
- Add a cover photo — 5 points
- Set your years of experience — 5 points
Work history is worth the most (20 points) because it's the most-read section of any chef CV. Fill that in first.
Web and mobile paths
On web, the Dashboard card shows the top missing items and links to their sections. On mobile, open the CV tab and use Edit profile, Work history, Skills, Education, Certifications, and Dishes to fill the same information.
What to complete first
- Claim your permanent handle and set a clear display name.
- Add at least one accurate work history entry.
- Add a current photo, city, tagline, and short bio.
- Choose focused cuisines, stations, and culinary skills.
- Preview your public CV before sharing its link or PDF.
Does the score affect search ranking?
No. The web completion score itself is not used as a search ranking signal. Public fields such as name, handle, city, cuisine, and availability determine which searches and filters can match your profile.
