Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the Culinect platform (“Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service. Culinect is operated for culinary professionals and hospitality employers in India and the GCC region.

2. User Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials and for all activity under your account.

You may register as a Chef or an Employer. Switching roles is possible via account settings but may require re-verification.

3. Chef Accounts

  • Your Culinector profile must contain truthful information about your experience, skills, and certifications
  • ChefSeal verification requires valid identity and professional documents — submitting fraudulent documents will result in permanent account suspension
  • Free accounts may apply to a limited number of jobs per month; premium subscriptions remove these limits
  • You must not apply to jobs you have no genuine interest in or qualification for

4. Employer Accounts

  • Employer profiles must accurately represent the business they are hiring for
  • Location claims must be for businesses you are authorised to represent — false claims will be rejected
  • Job postings must include honest salary ranges and accurate role descriptions
  • You must not contact chefs for purposes other than the listed job opportunity
  • Free accounts have limited job posting slots; premium subscriptions provide additional features

5. Prohibited Conduct

  • Posting misleading job listings, fake profiles, or fraudulent documents
  • Harassment, discrimination, or abusive behaviour toward other users
  • Scraping, automated data collection, or reverse-engineering the platform
  • Circumventing subscription limits, rate limits, or security measures
  • Using the platform to recruit for illegal activities

6. Subscriptions & Payments

Premium features are available via paid subscriptions billed monthly or annually through Razorpay (India) or Stripe (international). Prices are displayed in your local currency.

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods.

7. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of content you upload (profile text, photos, documents). By uploading content, you grant Culinect a licence to display and distribute it within the platform for the purpose of providing the Service. We will not use your content for external advertising without your consent.

8. Limitation of Liability

Culinect facilitates connections between chefs and employers but does not guarantee employment outcomes. We are not responsible for the conduct of users, the accuracy of job listings, or disputes arising from employment relationships formed through the platform.

9. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may request account deletion at any time via Settings > Account. Upon deletion, your data will be permanently removed within 30 days per our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
